How Seedance 2.5 credits work
Credits are deducted per render based on three factors: output duration, output resolution, and whether you attach a reference video. The generator shows the exact total before you submit, so you never spend credits without seeing the cost first.
Per-second rates by resolution (no reference video)
For a text-to-video or image-to-video render with no reference video attached, credits scale linearly with duration and resolution.

Example: a 4-second 1080p Standard clip costs 40 credits ($4 on Starter, $2.40 on Professional). A 30-second 4K clip costs 450 credits ($45 on Starter, $27 on Professional).
When you attach a reference video
Reference videos of 5 seconds or longer increase the per-second rate to cover the extra processing — for example 480p moves to 3–4 credits/s, 720p to 6–8 credits/s, 1080p to 20 credits/s, and 4K to 30 credits/s. Reference images, audio clips, and 3D blockouts do not change the rate.

No — all four packs on this page are one-time purchases. Buy when you need credits, use at your pace, no recurring monthly charge, no auto-renew. We don't currently offer a subscription option; if we add one in the future, it will be a separate signup, not a default.
No. Credits stay on your account indefinitely until you use them for a Seedance 2.5 generation. There is no 30-day expiry window, no quarterly reset, no "use it or lose it." Buy 1,665 credits and spend them over a year if that fits your workflow.
Credits = output duration (seconds) × credits per second for the chosen resolution. Without a reference video: 480p uses 1–2 credits/s, 720p uses 3–4, 1080p uses 10, and 4K uses 15 (Fast mode uses the lower rate in each pair). Attaching a reference video of 5 seconds or longer raises the rate — for example 480p at 3–4 credits/s, 720p at 6–8, 1080p at 20, and 4K at 30. Reference images, audio, and 3D blockouts do not change the rate. The generator shows the exact total before you submit.
